We focus on developing an equitable society by empowering communities through various initiatives related to health, education, rights, & employment, trying to make their lives fulfilling and better.

Welcome to our NGO, established on May 23, 1997, in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. We are dedicated to mobilize programs that focus on agriculture, health, education, and the environment. Our primary goal is to uplift the knowledge, awareness, and skills of the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.
We are committed to build an ideal society that promotes social and economic equality. Our efforts are centered around the development of women and children, as we firmly believe in their empowerment and growth. Additionally, we actively engage elders and the disabled in vocational and educational activities to enhance their livelihood opportunities. Through our initiatives in the khadi and village industries, we aim to foster self-reliance among the people we serve. We believe that by mobilizing these activities, we can contribute to their economic well-being and overall development. In times of calamities and disasters, we ensure that the affected communities receive the benefits of both government and non-government facilities. Our focus is on providing timely support and aid to help them overcome the challenges they face during such difficult times.

Jan Kalyan Shikshan Prasar Samiti (JKSPS) is dedicated to the development of the deprived people (backward and poor rural women, people with disabilities, child labour, victims of trafficking and violence) of Uttar Pradesh. The organization is working on the following issues: child marriage, child trafficking, child labour and child sexual abuse. The organization participated in and organized the Child Marriage Free India Campaign in Kaushambi and Chitrakoot districts of Uttar Pradesh, covering approximately 350 villages under the project.

The Campaign Activities included: 1. June Action Month: Jan Kalyan Shikshan Prasar Samiti celebrated World Day Against Child Labor on June 12th with the marginalized community of villages The organization conducted the action month with the objective of a child labour free India, prevented 1 child marriage, and rescued 17 children from child labour. The campaign was conducted in collaboration with Labour department and covered by print and social media with an outreach of 50 thousand people directly and 2 lakh people through online. 3. 16 October 2023: Child Marriage Free India Campaign Event – The campaign event was conducted in various locations of Kaushambi and Chitrakoot districts, covering 350 villages, in collaboration with the Education, Child Labor and Panchayati Raj departments, with notifications issued by 5 departments. The campaign was organized in Kaushambi districts of 350 villages with an outreach of 91000 people.

Campaign highlights:
1. A pledge on child marriage was taken by all district stakeholders, like DM, SP, DSP, BDO, etc., in presence of 400 women constables and media.
2. Pledge on child marriage and candle march conducted in 200 gram panchayat by pradhan.
